Mail Merge Can't Find Outlook Address Book

I am trying to mail merge from Word 2007 and when asked to select recepients
I select Outlook contacts and it comes back with an error message that the
MAPI folder or address book can't be found. I can select any contact I want
for use in an individual envelope but when trying to merge a whole list it
always fails. I am using Vista.
