Mail in folders- Windows Vista Mial

If I want to save an e-mail and transfer it to a different folder it seems
that the mail is being automatically deleted after 2 months. On other
computers I could leave mail a folder for years and it would only be deleted
if I manually deleted it. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?

Windows Mail does not automatically delete email after some period. It does
automatically delete news messages when they are deleted from the server.
