mail in control panel

hello.

i cannot open mail in control panel. an error message appears that says "you need more memory or system resources. close some windows and try again." i have no other windows open or programs running.

this problem started when i uninstalled and reinstalled MS Office Outlook 2003.

how can i fix this problem?

hi! thank you for the link but i have checked it and the guide was for outlook express lower than outlook 6. i have outlook express 6 in my computer and i cant find the "Make Outlook Express my default Simple MAPI client" in the

Tools--Options--General Tab and i am having diffculty looking for similar topic in the internet..

In later versions of Outlook Express I believe it is the Default Client button on/off which determines whether or not it is set up as default mapi client. I would guess that you do not have Outlook Express set up as default in any case. I did a bit more digging and found an article from some years ago on these forums which may help; it specifically mentions actions to take when reinstalling Outlook (it mentions Outlook XP so may not apply to Outlook 2003)
