Mail disappears only when forwarding

When using OL2002 and I forward it, it disappears out of my inbox. I have no
filters, rules and no pst files. why is this happening?
 
Tools>Options> Email Options>uncheck "close original on reply or forward"
then go to Advanced email options there> check Save forwarded messages.
