Mail Delivery Failed-suddenly

J

Jennie K.

I'm suddenly getting "mail delivery failed" messages for someone in my
address book that I've sent many emails to. They've had their IT person check
on their end and no problems there. I've made sure address did not end up in
my blocked list. I receive messages fine from this address. Does anyone know
what the problem might be?

My email has failed, too. I can receive emails, but I cannot send emails. I
use comcast.net and with their assistance I know that the problem is not with
comcast.net. I cannot find a method to re-establish my ability to send an
email. Windows Mail Help did not offer any assistance that corrected the
problem. I receive this message when I try to send emails:
-- The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Habitat families',
Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Entries in your Safe Senders list or Blocked Senders list have no bearing
on ability to send. Can you post one of those 'delivery failed' messages?
For privacy you can X out the username part of any email address.
