Dear Roady,

Thanks for the Richtext/Plain text info.

Now,
I would like to have all my mail, automatically a copy
send to a different email ID whenever I receive & send
email.
Is this possible(OL2000, OL2003).

Regards

Hi Anver,

You can use wizard rules for this;
Tools-> Wizard Rules in Outlook 2000
Tools-> Rules and Alerts in Outlook 2003

Create a separate rule for both receiving and sending. For the receiving
part there is also an option to automatically forward messages to a second
address when using Exchange but you are still using MSMAIL, right?

Thank u BOSS, it worked, but can we implement the same to
OL97 as well?
In this rule, whatever message I received I said forward
to a particular distribution list, but the original
message when it arrives to me it shows the ICON forwarded.
Is there any way to keep the ICON in the original mode.
Also, I send a message to a "GuestPC" and rule created cc
to "VisitorPC". When I check the mail in visitorPC it said
there is no mail, but after checkin the GuestPC, the
VisitorPC showing there is mail.

Can I see the cc mail(ruled mail)in the VisitorPC without
opening the GuestPC.

You're welcome! :)

I don't Outlook 97 support these rules but if the options are there; yeah,
it should work for Outlook 97 then as well. Make sure you always use the
same version of Outlook you've created your rules in or you'll break the
rules.

You can't do anything about the icon unless you configure the automatic
forwarding on your mail system (if available; therefor was my Exchange
remark).

I'm not sure what you meant by the last one. Did you sent a message from
your mailbox to the mailbox of GuestPC with a CC to the mailbox of
VisitorPC? That should work on its own.

Dear
(your qoute)
I'm not sure what you meant by the last one. Did you sent
a message from your mailbox to the mailbox of GuestPC with
a CC to the mailbox of VisitorPC?

NO not like that, I have sent a message from my mailbox to
the mailbox of "GuestPC" with that a rule created as copy
send message to "VisitorPC". When I check the mail in
visitorPC it said there is no mail, but after checkin the
GuestPC, the VisitorPC mailbox showing there is a mail. Can
I see the cc mail(ruled mail)in the VisitorPC mailbox
without opening the GuestPC mailbox.

I mean I am unable to see the rule created mail on the
directed pc(mail box of visitorPC) unless I open the
mailbox of GuestPC.

and
For rules
I am using OL97, 2000, xp, 2003 from all these OL I have
created rules to send items cc to a particular pc's
mailbox. Is there any issue with OL rules of these
different versions (other wise If I need to update all my
outlook to the single version then it is a big investment
again)

My main criterea is every users send mail should copy to a
particular pc.

Or else I have to advise the managment to go for the
Exchange server.

pls advise
