Attachment Opening - Roady

Continuation of my previous Mail

Dear Milly & Roady,

Suggested URL will work only with OL2000,SP2 and SP3 but
my problem I have OL2000 SP1. I need to remove attachment
opening behaviour in OL2000 SP1 or SR1, I have listed my
problem with SP3.

Hi Anver,

Oops, lost track of that message I was meant to reply to it.
AFAIK removing the security is not possible for Outlook 2000 unless Service
Pack 2 is applied. The corresponding Level1Remove key got added/supported in
this Service Pack

Dear Roady,

Can I know How can I get the Servive pack2 for outlook2000
(please could you suggest a link.)
Also mention, (after updating) how can I remove the level1
security to open the .exe file directly from outlook2000
instead of saving on a different location and execute from
there.

Hi Anver,

There is a Service Pack 3 already for Office 2000 ;-)
You can get all the individual updates here;

or use the Office update site
http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate

You can't open the to Level1Security filetypes directly from Outlook You can
do this only when you are using Exchange. For more info on this see;
