mail being deleted from inbox Outlook 2007

E-mails in the inbox in Outlook 2007 have begun being deleted automatically
from the inbox after 7 days.
Checked all settings against settings on laptop and not found any difference.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions where I have changed some setting.

View-Current View and make sure the "Last Seven Days" is NOT selected.
