I have difficulty reading some of the fine print on websites. I have
downloaded the Magnifier Powertoy and have the icon on my desktop. Each and
every time I click on the icon, a "Welcome to the Install Wizard" comes up.
I cannot find a 'help' section and do not know how to make the magnifier
work. Can someone help me with this, or suggest a better way to enlarge the
printing on websites?

Not being familiar with the program, but based on your
post it appears that you are required to follow the lead
of the Intallation Wizard's instructions to install the
program. I believe that it is not installed.

However, there is an article written by Walter S.
Mossberg Staff Reporter of The Wall Street Journal, in
which he critiques a program available for 15-day trial
or $19.95 purchase by download that far exceeds what
Microsoft has to offer. I would like to refer you to the
article, but unless you subscribe to The Wall Street
Journal's online substance, I cannot. My ISP has done
whatever is necessary to offer the articles to the ISP's
subscribers. So, I offer the following link to the site
of the originator of the program, Web Eyes, which will
acquaint you with the program.

I have low vision, and I have just completed downloading
the trial version. I'm hoping that it is everything I am
led to believe that it is.

Hope this information helps you.

When you run the Magnifier Powertoy Installer it places a new tool bar
in your task bar, but you need to activate it to see it.

Right click on an empty place on task bar and then left click ont
"Toolbars >> Taskbar Mangifier".

After you've done that you see a magnified view of what you are
pointing at in the task bar. Dragging the task bar up so there are
two or more rows will make it larger so it is easer to see.

After you have activated it, you can then right click on it and
sellect the magnifacation you need.

I don't know how useful this is, I found it by searching for something
to help someone else. What seems to be nice about this tool is it
does not interfere or get in the way like other magnifiers I looked
at.

Hope this helps.
