Macros and autocorrects

Hi,

I type up many reports spanning from 10 pages to 40 pages. I initially
found macros very useful for repetitive sentences. When I ran out of macro
space, I turned to the 'Autocorrect' feature. I can store a few nonsensical
letters on autocorrect which in my report can turn into almost a whole
paragraph. Trouble is, although I now have a very up to date computer (using
Word XP), in the past I have suffered crashes and have lost all my macros and
autocorrects. As I am adding to the autocorrects all the time, if the
computer were to crash again, it would take a very long time to type them all
back in. Can anyone tell me how to save Macros and autocorrects to disk? I
can't seem to find an easy way to do this.

Thanks.

Hi Lynn,
I have the same problem (needing to copy autocorrect to disc). Did you ever
find out how to do it? Thanks, Michael

Hi Mikeyvass,

Sorry, not found out so far. I had high hopes when I found out you had
responded to my question, but you are in the same boat. Wouldn't have
thought it would be that hard to do. Will keep trying and will let you know
if I succeed.

Sorry for late delay in responding, but when I first tried to read your
reply, system wouldn't let me. So I gave up for a few months.

Lynn
