Macros 4.0

After I enable macros in a new workbook, I get a message that says" This
workbook contains one or Microsoft Excel 4.0 macros. These macros may contain
viruses or harmful code. Do you want to enable these macros"

I have never seen this before and I do not know why excel is asking for
double verifications. Can anyone tell me how to bypass this?
