Macromedia Player

Everytime i try to use the macromedia player, I get a error message that it
is closing and then it won't restart.
I redownloaded it and still nothing

Anyone have any suggestions?

You need to install it fresh, because Macromedia Flash and Shockwave do not
always reinstall correctly on top of themselves.

In the Control Panel, under Programs, you want to uninstall it, then restart
your computer.

After that you can go back to the Macromedia site and install it.

Hi Chuck--

It's now Adobe Flash who bought it from Macromedia as they did Dreamweaver.
In order to uninstall it, you need a special tool from Adobe you get here:

Also I've found it's important to check to make sure that you haven't
accidentally disabled Adobe Flash. To do thisgo to:

Tools>Options> Manage Add-ons.
