Macromedia Flash Player 7

I downloaded the game Word Search Deluxe form Shockwave.com. Every
time I try to play it I get an error message saying my there was
something wrong with my macromedia Flash player. I've tried removing
it, writing to the company, reinstalling it, to no avail. I don't know
what else to do. Can someone give me advice?
