Machine Debug Manager (MDM)

Everytime I attempt to open or close a Windows Explorer
(6.0) window, I get a message box:

Microsoft Machine Debug Manager (MDM)
usage: mdm [options]
options
/dumpjit Display current JIT (just in time) debugging
settings
/remotecfg configure remote JIT (just in time)
debugging options
-----------------------

This is slowing down my access to IE but they still open
and close but very slowly.

Hi Brian,

Right click the My Computer Icon/Properties/Advanced/Startup and
Recovery/Settings/Write debugging information/None. Or
Start/Run/Msconfig/Services/Uncheck Machine Debug Manager.

MDM.EXE which is loaded with Office may also be listed under
msconfig/Startup. If you continue to get the errors after trying the above
and/or the settings become unchecked, rename mdm.exe.
