Machine Crashing

Steve

I have a PC which keeps rebooting intermittently. I have
run a diagnostic on it and there appears to be no hardware
faults. The machine is also virus free. I have re-
installed XP but this does not seem to have cured the
problem.

I have checked the event log and the only error is DNAPSI
(event 11163). I have searched the Microsoft website but
there is no reference to this event.

Would appreciate any assistance offered

Thanks

Steve

Steve;

Sounds like hardware to me... especially since you have
already reformatted the computer. As I recomended in a
previous post, I would suspect the power supply;
motherboard; memory (in that order) I can give you a
good memory tester that is free, but I do not have a
power supply tester for download.

Good luck!
