Mac to XP network ?

Iam a new xp user and need to network to my existing mac both have ethernet and firewire ports just dont know where to start ?

Hi -

If you're running OS X Apple has a pretty good readme on
networking Macs and Windows machines - you can find it
here:

If you're using OS 9.x or earler you'll need a third-
party program like VirtualPC to make them play nice in
the same workgroup.
