MAC Connecting to the VPN?

John Riddle

Hello,

I have a user who has a MAC computer at home and needs to connect to office
network via VPN and access file shares only. We use Windows 2003 Enterprice
with RRAS installed and running. It works fine for all the Windows clients to
connect from home, I have absolutely no experience with MAC's so am looking
for some instructions on how to allow a MAC client to sign-on to the domain
and share one of their home drives as well as access a share on our network.
Anyone done this?

Thanks,

John

There are third-party VPN clients for Macs (equinux tracker, Cisco,
Tunnelbuilder etc). But sharing a Mac drive seems unlikely to me.

Okay. Thanks. That helps a lot. I'll probably have to have him switch to a PC
then.
