I've reinstalled WindowsXP after 6 months. Now I get more times a message
that the virtual memory is low. I never had that before.

All the same program are installed.
Only McAfee7.0 A-virus/Firewall is New, will that be the problem?

I looked in the news-groups and found more questions about it, but no
answers.
I manually checked the Virtual memory 384 -768 (Drive E:)
Hoping for an solution

Open Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and look for an entry for
the Intel Application Accelerator. If it is listed then select it and
click on Add/Remove to uninstall it. Reboot the computer and your
problem should be resolved.

And if the Intel Application Accelerator was installed then you should
go to www.intel.com and download the latest version of the Intel
Application Accelerator and install it.

If that is not the solution then see MVP Alex Nichol's article on
Virtual Memory in Windows XP at http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.htm
especially the section dealing with problems.

Good luck
