low memory message when trying to change office assistant

I have a brand new computer and want to change the office assistant. When I
go to the options, a command pops up telling me I don't have enough memory
for this task.
I have never had any problems like this before, know only the basics of
computers but would like to fix this problem. It have become very annoying...
please advise ,

I have exactly the same problem trying to run Office 2003 on Windows Vista.
Getting a solution seems to be very difficult. Somebody must know what to
do. How to adjust the size of memory.
