I keep getting this low dick space message. I go to "add/remove" delete files
, empty recycle bin, defragment. I still get "low disk space" The more MBs I
delete the worse it gets. can anyone help?

How big is your drive and how much of it is free?

Delete all temporary files and reduce the size of Internet Explorer's cache.
ccleaner - www.ccleaner.com - can help a lot with this. Use the
Analysis button to see what you are deleting, first.

If you are using smaller hard drives, consider upgrading.

6 GB on the main drive with 161 mb free and 70 GB external

You get that message when free disk space is under 200MB. Since you are
under it, you get it. If you want to disable the message (although I don't
recommend it), read here:

There are usually things you can delete or make smaller, but with a drive
that small, anything you do will at best be a stopgap measure. Your real
problem is that 6GB is way too small a Windows drive for almost everyone.
You are badly in need of an upgrade to a bigger drive.
