Hi, i have AVG from Grisoft and AVG resident shield says it has detected
Lovsan.A in the following place:

D:\System Volume Information\_restore{*******-****-****-****-************}

\****\A0006447.EXE

but when i use AVG tool to search the system it finds nothing, i thought i
will find it myself but i cant find the folder or file

so have i got the virus or not and if so why doesnt AVG program pick it up
when the resident shield does

or is there another way of getting rid of it if i have it, ive always
trusted AVG and have never got a virus on my system since ive had it
installed 2 years ago,

What version of Windows are you using? If it's ME or XP, try disabling then
re-enabling System Restore, and see what happens.

and you can't get rid of it... it's protected by the operating system
because it's in your system restore... purge your restore points by
disabling system restore and rebooting... if you want to continue using
system restore then re-enable it and reboot again...
