Lostsome of my my file sharing

I have two machines with XP SP3. They are networked through a
wireless router. Two-way file & printer sharing has worked for years.
Now suddenly, sharing works one way but not the other. That is,
machine B can read and modify all files on machine A, but not the
reverse. This is especially bad because my USB Epson is wired to
machine B. And so, I cannot print.

I reinstalled the printer on B to no avail. No surprise since machine
A cannot share machine B's folders and files. In fact machine A
cannot see machine B at all.

I have checked and checked - and cannot find the problem. Any
suggestions?

A standard fix (omitted here) is to shut off router power supply
for 30 sec. so it must reboot itself.
