Lost XP Home Edition CD

Has anyone had to get a replacement CD? I have my
product registration and receipt of purchase, but lost my
XP CD in my move.

If yours was a retail version, see

But if it was an OEM version, Microsoft won't support it and
you're probably out of luck. However it doesn't hurt to try
asking the OEM you bought it from if they can replace it.

Contact Microsoft Customer Service for a replacement CD. Sometimes
they'll replace it at no cost, other times there's a small charge for
shipping/handling. Depends on who you speak with.

Be sure to have your registration and sales receipt on hand when you
call.
