Lost Word 2000

My operating system is Windows XP. I've lost Word. I can
only use it my opening an exisiting document and then
opening a new document. How can i restore it? On an
advanced search its shows its on the system but cannot
find it from the control panel or start up menu. Any
suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

Easiest thing to do is dig out the Word (or Office) CD from your stack
of computer CD's and re-install.

Have you tried looking in the All users menu?

too easy, just do the same advanced search and create a
shortcut on the start menu
drap and drop with the right mouse button and
choose 'create shortcut'
