Lost windows 2000 cd

Hello,
I have lost my windows 2000 cd. I would like to know if I
can buy another windows 2000 cd without the licence (I
mean why should I have to pay for another serial number
when I still have one but not the media).

Don't take my word as gospel, but the license matters and they don't care as
much about the CD itself. Get the CD however, even some OEM CD (though that
last poster had the best method). Your problem will be that you don't
have the paper license for a potential audit. If you registered it under
your name and that serial number, that might help. Most important, go with
your honest gut. If you paid the money, and you know you did, then just use
the product and don't worry.
