Lost the 'My Documents' icon on desktop

The 'My Documents' icon does not display on the W2K
desktop under one user's logon. I can log on to the same
computer and the icon shows fine. How do I restore the
icon for the other guy?

try this:

1. log in as the user in question.
2. open windows explorer.
3. click tools > folder options from the drop-down menus.
4. click the view tab.
5. make sure the "Show My Documents on the Desktop" option
has a check mark next to it.
