Lost Shared Personal Address Book Features in OL2003???

I just upgraded one of my home PCs with Office 2003. Outlook is now really
messed up. Besides a rather annoying loss of real estate on the left side,
we also seem to have lost the ability to share the .pab file between all
users on all PCs. It seems you now have no convenient way to add entries to
the .pab with a right-click action. Instead, it wants to use Contacts. Is
there any way to break the Contacts information out of the Outlook.pst file
for each user and instead, have them share a common file for the contacts?
If anyone knows how to do this without buying some server application, I'd
appreciate knowing. Thanks in advance.

What symptoms make you think this is the case? Outlook 2003 continues to
support .pab files.

Did you try changing the save destination to the PAB? Tools | Address Book,
then Tools | Options?
