lost sent folder files in outlook 2003

Hi All,

does anyone know what may cause the lost of files in the sent folder of
outlook 2003. one of my user have lost her files, she also states that her
deleted folder has increased in number of files and these files even date
back to more than 7 years old. can anyone help with how to get the files
back into the sent folder, I suspect maybe its been moved into the deleted
folder.

Any help or pointers will be appreciated.

Might the items have been auto-archived into another PST file? Does the user
have one or more PST files on their machine? You might want to open each one
to check their contents.
