Lost sent email

My sent folder only contains emails about 45 days old. I have no idea why
since I've had this computer, using this account for 6 months. My Personal
file folders, that I've moved incoming email to go back 6 months. Is there
an automatic delete feature that eliminates sent message older than x days?

Not that I'm aware of..
I've got sent messages going back to March 10, 2007.
but I haven't used Windows Mail much since WLM came out.
