In "start"-"all programs" right click and choose "explore" does not work any
more. (It just highlights the menu item below the one right-clicked on.)
This happened right after installing adobe reader 8.1. It also installed
adobe photoshop starter edition without my knowledge or permission, and
after uninstalling it the problem was noticed. Thanks adobe, for screwing
up my system. Anybody know how I can get "explore" back? Thanks

No way. You missed the options, or chose "express install" or
whatever it's called, rather than "custom install" where you choose
what gets installed.

Not Adobe's fault. Yours.

Use System Restore to rollback to a time before you installed Adobe
Reader 8.1

have you tried uninstalling the adobe garbage.

you might go to the adobe web site and download an uninstalled.
even use Add/Remove, lots of garbage is left behind.

if all you need is a READER, might check for other 3rd party programs.
I use Visagesoft pdf reader.
smaller, faster and does not have the bloated garbage like adobe.
