Lost: New > Text Document

Hi there,

I have lost the ability to right-click and select: New > Text Document.

I tried searching the registry of another PC and exporting the setting.
I imported the reg file on the PC that had lost it, and the option came
back. But when I tried to use it, I got an error message saying the
registry format is invalid, and it went away again.

Does anyone know how I can get the setting back?

There is a way to fix this I did it some time back you need to edit the registry and put back the command that allows you to right click on text. I dont have the commands but someone here can help further.
