lost my start-up

i had some difficulties running windows media player, i ran a virus scan and found out i had a few infected files. I tried to do a system restore, and after it was completed, it asked me to restart. After restarting, a blank screen came on and asked me to Ctrl+Alt+del to restart. I did that and all that kept happening was the same screen. It also said that NTLDR is compressed. Any Info on what i can do.
