Lost my .pdf OPEN ability?`

Hi all....
I can now no longer OPEN up a .pdf page when I find one on
the web...all I see is that little red missing icon.

How do I 'reinstalll' that function?

Reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader v6.x or Adobe Acrobat in general (if full product).

In my opinion it is better to download PDF files locally and then view them instead of
within a web page. You can do this by Right Clicking on the hypertext and selecting "save
as".
