Lost my Image Resizer XPPowertoy

P

Pflueger

After years of use my Image Resizer Powertoy simply stopped working. It is
still listed in the Context Menu but nothing happens when I click on it. I
tried removing and redownloading/reinstalling it many different times but
nothing works.

It is one of my favorite tools. Any help with getting it back would be
greatly appreciated. TIA

Thanks Mark, I tried your suggestion, the .dll ran OK, I rebooted, but it
had no effect on the Resizer. If it tells you anything, I just realized
that the Windows "Preview" option that is listed just below the Resizer in
the context menu has also stopped functioning. Everything else there seems
fine. What to do now?

nothing when I click on Resize Images in the Context Menu.

If this problem is seen for all image file type extensions (JPG/GIF/TIF/PNG/...) then, this could very well be a shell extensions related problem. Visit: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm and try the steps listed in "Method 2" of that page.
