Lost My Graphics - FP2000

I had 5 graphics under the title on my home page in FP2000. These
graphics carried through to all other pages. Suddenly they are gone!
I was making some changes to one of the pages, but didn't even open up
the index.htm page. The only thing remaining on the page(s) where the
graphics were is the notation to, "Edit the properties for this
navigation bar to display hyperlinks here." No idea what I did to
cause this.

When I open up the index.htm from my backup files in Internet
Explorer, the graphics are still there. I tried to import this
index.htm file into FrontPage, but didn't help. Any ideas of how I
can out of this mess?

I was able to fix the problem by using my backup and rebuilding
everything I had done for the last few days (since the last backup.)
I did have to do a Publish all pages to correct whatever was wrong.
