Lost Microsoft Windows Installation CD

My Toshiba computer that runs Windows Home Edition just crashed and I need to
do a system reinstall but I lost my reinstallation CD. What can I do? Do I
have to pay for windows again? I've had it for less than a year and I really
hope that there is a way I can get a windows reinstallation CD. Can anyone
offer help?

If you still have your product key then you can use a friend's
CD, provided that it is the same type (e.g. an OEM CD).
You will probably need your Toshiba driver CD too, unless
you intend to download the drivers from a Toshiba site.

In addition to Pegasus' response...
A laptop - less than a year old?
Contact Toshiba. They may be able to send you a CD.

If the CD was supplied by Toshiba, you call Toshiba for assistance.
