lost memory

I recently had to reboot by making a partition ,in the
prossess I lost 14 MEGABYTES OF PHYSICAL MEMORY.
My memory was 128 mgbs originally but now it says my
system only has 112 mgbs; any ideas where it went or if
I can get it back?
 
128-112 = 16

Are you sure that 16 megs of RAM isn't dedicated toward your video card
(your RAM and Video card ram may be shared, this is common for some lower
end GPU's that are integrated with the motherboard)
