Lost mail

Please help -- I installed Vista about 1 week ago -had lots of problems
with bring in old mail and the address book. Now I get told I have 4 or more
messages and sometimes I even get to see them then there gone. It wont
display them. They are just gone. What can I do to get my mail back or stop
it from losing mail into the either (air) ??? If there is a Microsoft tech
who reads this please answer this question. I am beginning to believe you
folks have brought out another "Windows Me", only this is worst!!!

Make sure you have antivirus software not set to scan email. See

Also search for *.eml to help file the lost messages. They should still be
there somewhere.
