Lost link from icons to programs after MSVDM is deployed

Help this has me chasing my tail. After changing desktop
themes with MSVDM I receive an error message when
attempting to click access to program (Windows cannot
aaccess to specified program path or file. You may not
have the appropriate permissions to acsess the item).
First I checked my logon premission, found no problem,
next checked and reset properties to found new target
path,again same result, then changed everything to
previous settings and last used system restore to
a "good" point. All with same result. I am out of my
known options. Any suggestions?

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
