lost key

When I upgraded my computer, I forgot to take my key code
off of the pc case and now I cann't reinstall xp on my
hard drive. How do I find the key number ( on disk
or ???). I would app. any help. kwm

If you wiped the drive already then the best bet is to call Microsoft.
I lost my key once and they were good enough to
provide it. But that was Win98. If WinXP is still there then use this
utility.
