lost identity...?

My puter wouldn't boot today, and nice lady from MS support in India got it
booted again after a long struggle. Only problem is, I can see my documents
etc if I go to my computer-->documents and settings-->Username, but my
identity doesn't exist, just "Owner" so the config on all my programs is
missing, my drivers are AWOL, and I can't access email etc.

If I go to system restore, it doesn't show any events prior to the time that
the computer was rebooted today.

Any ideas?

Under explorer, tools, folder options, view, make sure show all hidden files
and folders is checked and show all system files is checked
