lost icon from quick launch task bar

You know that little icon next to the green start button on
the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop, than when you
click it, it minimizes all open windows? Well, I
accidentally deleted it. It is not in the recycle bin
either, gone for good. How can I get it back. I have
search heaven and earth to no avail. I can create a
shortcut to the desktop folder and drag-and-drop to the
quick launch area, but it just opens the desktop folder,
which is not what I want. What I want is for it to
minimize all open windows as the original. I tried also a
system restore to a date prior to this unfortunate
deletion, but it did not put it back. So, friends, what
can I do? thank you
