Lost folder from cache

Dear listmembers

Version Outlook 2003 sp2
Problem: Outlook used two accounts 1 pop3 and 1 exchange. Outlook is
in offline mode. The exchange account doesn't exist anymore on the
server. The user doesn't work anymore for the company of the exchange
server. The mail of the pop3 account had been delivered in the folders
of the exchange account. Recently the exchange account has been
removed. From that moment the folders with mail etc. disapeared. Is it
possible to restore these mail. Possibly they were in the cache mode.
Resynchronizing with the exchange server isn't an option because the
account doesn't exist.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Does the user have an OST file that would contain these emails? You can
convert an OST to a PST and then use Outlook to open it.

Thanks Kathleen,
Conversion finished and email restored.
