LOST FILES!

I reinstalled windows and it deleted my user accounts and
everything. I have a few gigs stored in my documents
under my old name, and the documents folder is still
there but inaccessible! i cant even delete it! can i
get those files back??? how do i restore that user
account?

Lets see if I recall this at this early hour, right click on the
directory, properties,security,advanced, ownership and take ownership.
I'm not awake enough to recall if you have to be logged on as
administrator or not for this to work but you'll find out quickly if you
do.
