Stop using the computer until you try data recovery. Deleted files are
not removed from the drive. The space they occupy is marked as
available for use, so the more you use the system the more likely the
data will be overwritten.

Here are some undelete utilities to try. Download them from another
system, copy to floppy or thumb drive and run from there. If these
don't work and the data is extremely valuable there are data recover
places but the cost is _very_ high - www.drivesavers.com or www.ontrack.com.

Executive Software “Undelete”:

Next time _always_ have a full and complete backup so if you do
unintentionally delete a file or worse - get a drive crash - you won't
loose everything.

Are you sure they were deleted?

Can you search your hard drive using *.jpg or whatever file type your
pictures are?

Hi Mike:
Hate to ask but how do you do that???
I am not what you call computer literate.
Please help.
Thanks

Dante

Use My Computer , highlight the "C" Drive with one click, then click on the
Search button on the tool bar.

In the side bar that apears click on "Files and Folders"

Then in the "All or part of a file name:" put

*.jpg

thats "Star-dot - jpg"

and hit search button and watch her go...

This will search for all JPG files on your drive

Hello,

EASEUS DataRecoveryWizard utility can help. Speaking about me, it was
easily able to restore deleted, lost file and unformat drive,
so I think you will also find it quite useful. Really recommended
tool, give it a try.
