lost files

Hi,

I was at a client machine and created a folder on a Windows 2000
server. I transferred files to the server and then inadvertently deleted the
folder on the server. I checked the recycle bin on the server and the client
machine and the files were not in the recycle bin. They must have been
deleted without going through the recycle bin because I deleted the folder
from the client not the server?

Is there any way or is there a utility that can bring back these files?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks
Steve

The recycle bin is for local drives only, which you just found out. There
are third party tools available that handle this, such as Emergency Undelete
from http://www.undelete.com/coverpage.asp and others.
