Today I lost my Recycle Bin. It was on my Desktop as usual, but I've done
something and it is no longer there. I have performed the following actions:
1. Performed a Search for "Recycle Bin" - nothing returned
2. Created a "New Folder" and "deleted" it and then performed a search for
"New Folder" - nothing returned
3. Created a Folder called "Vic" and "deleted" it and then performed a
search for "Vic" - nothing returned
4. I've been through all of the "Control Panels" and as many "Settings" as
I can find - no "Recycle Bin"
5. I've looked through every Folder that I can think of - nothing
6. I've looked through every "System" file that I can think of - no luck
7. I performed a "Disk Cleanup" utility function. It showed 24,000+ KB in
the Recycle Bin. When I performed the cleanup it then showed 0 KB, so it
"emptied" something!
I'm at a loss as to get the "Recycle Bin" visable again. Help!
