lost files

i had to reinstall my windows program and lost most of my
files of pics for my website.

How do i go to the website and retrieve the pics and get
them back onto my computer file or in the worst
case...how do i completely wipe out everything on the web
site and just start all over>

You can open the web site in FP using the File | Open Web and entering it
the URL you normally publish to. Then you can use the File | Publish Web to
publish it back to your local machine. If you have a web server on your
local computer you would publish to http://localhost/webname, with webname
being the name of the subweb you want to publish it to. If you don't have a
web server then you can just point it to the location you would like the
disk-based web created at.
