Lost emails

I have recently installed AVG Pro on 2 machines - one running Windows Mail on
Vista and the other running Outlook Express on XP Home. The Outlook express
gets far more emails coming through to my email client than Windows Mail. It
apprears something is blocking some of my emails!

Can please anyone advise????

1. You shouldn't have AVG scanning your email, that's just asking for
trouble.

2. What type of email accounts are they?

3. If they are POP3, are both computers accessing the same email accounts?
If so, are they configured to leave the messages on the server after
downloading?

Lee, check you settings in Windows Mail and make sure it's set to not
delete from server... if one machine is set to do so and the other not
then the "Other" will never see them.

My guess is you only had XP before and OE on the XP machine is not set
to "Leave a copy on server / Until I delete" which is the way to go on
both.
