Recently crashed my hardrive. Restored drive C with Retrospect disaster
recovery program. Most programs seem to be working ok. My Outlook calendar
and saved e-mails came back. Did a send receive, task bar showed approximetly
200 messages at around 8MB. None of the messages showed up in the Inbox and
when the e-mail server was checked they had been deleted there. I have read
some of the other posts and I have tried most of what was recommended. I used
the inbox repair tool, NG. I can see my Outlook.pst file, it is an 87.2 MB
file but nothing will let me see these files.

Did you use the File -> Open menu in Outlook to open your old 87.2 MB .pst
file?

In Microsoft Outlook under the Help file there is a repair and detect in the
pulldown menu. After this utility was run, I could receive my e-mails. I
think this is what fixed it. Still can not find where my other e-mails went.
